Hi, I have locked in on my hardware for this 500$ build , I was looking for a psu and saw the gpu manafacturer for my video card recommended 600W psu in order to power it. What would be a recommended PSU , and if any body can shed some light on the 6pin and 8 pin requiremment for the video card as I have been out of the PC building community since 2005.
here is the setup:
Intel G3258 3.2 Ghz stock, planning to oc to 4-4.2 Ghz
Gigabyte Z97 HD3 mobo
Gigabyte Radeon R9 280 OC 1072MHZ 3GB 6.0GHZ
and 4x 120mm fans
DVD drive
and 1 3.5 HD
