Monitor Help HDMI no signal

Hi i built my first PC and everything seems ok until i tried to connect it to a monitor.
I built Austin evans Photon
I am using a ASUS VS247H monitor and a A78M-E25 motherboard with a R7 260x (i believe) i connected my HDMI cable to my Monitor also into my GPU. it says HDMI no signal i also tried VGA and the other one it starts with a D i believe... I am not familiar with VGA or the other one so can someome give me instructions on how to connect my PC to my monitor? do i also need to connect the VGA while connecting HDMI? do i need to connect HDMI from my motherboard into my Monitor ect... I really need help guys Thanks in advance :D

Ive tried both but yes i have put it in the GPU to the Monitor and it still didnt work

The graphics card does not have a VGA or DVI connector only HDMI and some other thing idk what it is it looks like HDMI but it isnnt

So i connect the DVI port from the GPU to the monitor and when its all set up i add the drivers and HDMI should work?

It sounds like it's time to perform every step in our troubleshooting checklist in the stickies section at the top of the forum. It was created for this type of problem and should help you figure out what's causing the problem. There's also a link to the checklist in my signature.

still no help :( ive plugged DVI into GPU to Monitor and it still says DVI no signal

No but some of them arent for the GPU and monitor right? i mean i already know my CPU ect are plugged in right like everything works except it still says no DVI no signal but there should be signal
