computer will not show post screen

I made my own computer recently and when I boot it up the screen stays completely blank. Everything is connected correctly and seems to be in working order.
I have a A55M-E33 motherboard
AMD A6-6400K processor fm2
4 gigs of ram
A 450 watt power supply
My monitor is 100% functional
Everything turns on inside the computer but the screen stays black. There are no flashing lights or beeping noises.

1. Are you connecting the monitor to a motherboard video port or to a PCIe Graphics Card?
2. Have you tried the monitor on all compatible video ports?
3. Is your monitor Analog only or Analog and Digital?
4. Is the monitor showing anything like "No Signal", "Analog" or "Digital"?
5. Does the motherboard have a Beeper/speaker?
6. If you don't see a beeper/speaker you need to install one.

If you are certain the monitor is connected correctly, it's not showing any messages, and the motherboard has a beeper/speaker that's not sounding out, the PSU may be the cause... the symptom coincides with one of the most common for a bad PSU. It doesn't matter if everything turns on.. if you don't have video it's probably the PSU. Try a different one... after double checking all the PSU connections on the computer.

Had same issue with wifes pc I built..take out ram and turn it on see if u get beeps then try ur sticks one by one. Try one first turn it on if it beeps turn it off and take out first one and turn it on see if it beeps if not u found ur issue
