Hi everyone, I am currently looking at these two laptops for school and was wondering which of these has the processor that would be able to browse the web, type word documents, powerpoints, and some YouTube here and there without any lag or hiccups?

I read that the Pentium one is a quad core and that the i3 is a dual core. From what I know though, isn't the Intel Core i3 a tier higher than a Pentium?

But either way, I am not gaming or anything on it and was wondering out of these two, which would be more smooth in what I need it for?

or

Intel Core i3-4010Y

Or are they both gonna be the same for the amount of work I do and I should go for the cheaper one? I really need some advice if anyone knows.

Thanks!

Solution
Go for the i3 the difference is that this CPU has hyperthreading technology which allows you to do several things at once, same performance as n3530 but a better integrated graphic card. And will be much easy to sell it in the future
