I recently purchased a ssd for my father desktop that I built him. All of the tutorials online used paragon hard disk manager, but when I tried to use the demo version it said "you cannot use apply changes in the demo version." I then looked up free migration software and used aomei partition assistant. After the os and all the files were transfered I went into the bios and changed the boot order, but the system still booted from the old hdd and the new ssd was still the D: drive. When I unplugged the old hdd (after turning the computer off) there was a Windows error and the computer wouldn't start. After I opened the paragon and clicked migrate os it asked me to choose which one, so all the files are transfered and the os is transferred, but it won't boot. Any suggestions?
Thanks.
