I need Advice on deciding which GPU to put in my build

I am doing my first gaming pc build and i cant decide if i should go with a GTX 770 4gb superclocked with ATX cooler or a GTX 780 3gb Superclocked, From what i have read; water cooling the 770 is not possible because of the overly large capacitors that would hit the waterblock. Thanks in Advanced for any response's helping with my noobality of computers haha

My build specs:
Obsidian 750D case
i7 4790k processor
Asus Maxiumus VII Ranger motherboard
16gb Corsair vengeance DDR 2133 MHz
360MM Water cooling (CPU only at the moment)
Corsair RM850 PSU
windows 7 home premium

no you can wc the 770 fine, company's make blocks custom for it, that said though, get a 780, much more headroom for gaming in the future and just a bit nicer. i would recommend the 780 classified as it has a better pcb and just looks cooler! though i will tell you the waterblock is a tad bit more expensive, but totally worth it!

I'ved heard of people that have TONS of mods and it still runs on a 780!

If you want to watercool go to EK's Cooling Configurator to test the card you want.

yeah i've got about 50 and still get around 45-60fps depending on what's going on. the 780 classy is just a beast card!
