My gtx 780 ti broke down, and I am gonna get it serviced. Meanwhile, I put in a (quite) old GeForce 8600 GT, and I am getting input/display lag. I am ONLY playing csgo, which it should be able to crank out. Basically, when I do something, it shows up on the screen 0.10 seconds later(or some amount that is notecable enough I can't play competitively, but not horrible) My monitor is some small Insignia monitor with no game mode(or motion blur or ability to remove DCS [or DCM whatever it's called]) Some advice please??? I need to play with my team.;)

More about : display lag input lag gpu

erm, I'm not even sure... the computer is not the issue, I ran the 780 in safe mode without drivers, and there were no problems. I'm 100% sure the display/input lag is due to some setting issue that is most likely caused by the GeForce 8600 GT. (I'm running Win 7 64 bit btw)

Did you do a driver removal before popping in the 8600GT? I would remove the Nvidia driver and then do a clean install maybe even use Driver Sweeper.
