Question about 4 sticks of RAM.

I have 16GB of 1600mhz RAM Four Sticks x 4GB with a Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 Motherboard, and an AMD FX 8350 CPU at 4.0ghz.

I've read before (from a source I can't remember) that using four 4gb sticks of RAM with my processor and motherboard isn't as good as it'd be with two sticks of 8gb.

I'm curious if I upgraded my Memory to two 8gb sticks at 1600mhz would I see any difference in my gaming performance?

I don't think you'll see any difference at all in your gaming performance or in your overall computing performance. Regulating two sticks will put less strain on your memory controller, but unless you're also upgrading the speed, i.e. 1866, 2133, 2400, I wouldn't waste your money.
