So I found this build and I really like the compact size of the prodigy since this is for a former console gamer. This will be my first build but the video for it made it look simple enough. Any Flaws please point out as this is my first build ever. really just want to run games at medium to high quality. Also i'm looking for a good wireless adapter. So really shoot out any ideas really want the mini PC's but any ideas with different cases and builds that are more optimal and in the $600-$700 range are welcome, not looking to overclock either, I also will be replacing my xbox with this so I'm going to be hooking this up to a TV in my room, so any controller recommendations other than my xbox360 controller are fine too.

what PSU would you recommend for this mini build? I'm all new to this so any help will do. I'm thinking replacing it with a SeaSonic SSR-550RM does that sound good at all?

It looks like a great build, but I would get a bigger ssd or at least a 1tb hard drive so you can store more games! In addition, you need an OS(operating system). One more thing, I agree that you should get a better power supply

Hmm With the storage I think i'm fine with it, most games I play don't take up much space and after a while I usually delete them anyways, But I do see that could be a problem. I only hear great things for SSD's but does anyone have another recommendation and still keep the price down for higher storage? I was also thinking of Steam OS cause why not? I'm going to be using this for all gaming anyways, I do like the windows set up and everything but that $100 really messes up the build.

Also a quick question is are there any places I could save some money? Really trying to get to the $700 range. You think I could downgrade on processor to an I-3 and bring my SSD down to a caviar Blue seagate 1TB? Any other downgrades that sound sane for a gaming PC?

Hmmm I also edited my last post with my thoughts on downgrades since my price tag wanted to be $700
do SSD's make a dramatic difference?
