DDR3 1333mhz Ram support problem

Hi all... I have recently bought a Transcend 4gb ddr3 1333mhz ram but it is not working.
I have zion 2gb ddr3 1333mhz ram which is working fine.
My Specs Are-
Cpu- Pentium Dual Core E5700 3 ghz
Motherboard- MSI G41M-P26
OS- Win 7 64 bit SP1
Gpu- Raedon HD 6670 1gb gddr5
SMPS- 600W

When i put my new ram the computer is neither starting nor giving any beep sound.
Can anyone please help me.!!

Try the new ram without the old ram being in the PC. Mixing ram is never a good idea.

I tried that too... I put my new ram only in the slot near to the cpu fan..
But still no display.
I tried to update my bios by going to my MSI site and downloading the bios compatible to my motherboard.
But it says my OS is not supported.
I cant update my BIOS.

The mobo spec - http://www.msi.com/product/mb/G41MP26.html#hero-specification - says
"Supports two unbuffered DIMM of 1.5 Volt DDR3 800/1066/1333* (OC) DRAM, 8GB Max "

So you'd have to set the 1333 in bios. Make sure it's in the right slot - per your manual. It should go in the slot where the 2gb was.
