Help? am I doing something wrong to flash video card bios?

HI I am having some problems I don't know what I am doing wrong

I used KeplerBiosTweaker1.27.exe to tweek my bios for the Nvidia 780 GTX Ti and I saved the bios but when I go to flash my bios it look like this in the picture.

I have two card one onboard on my motherboard that is a PCI onboard video so I had to used that command to flash a different card but now It not working anymore I don't know what I done wrong. can anyone help me? I used to flash it. but it been like 5 month ago. I don't know what happend

More about wrong flash video card bios
  1. Open the command prompt as administrator, then:

    nvflash gk110.rom -6

This should work if its a bios from a different make 780 ti

    Nope that doesn't do it

I will try a different BIOS I will just try different setting and save it it might be the 1.27 and not 1.25 or I haven't try 1.26 yet but I will if not being successful.
  3. Weird, its like its not seeing your graphics card.

Yea very weird I think I am stuck with it. Now I am going to try 1.26 and go back to the old 1.25 and see if I can flash with bios of stock to SC then ACX

Here a picture of me trying to get it to flash over and over with 4 different bios. I think my old setting of my flashing 5 month ago is stuck. I hope it not

And my room temp is 80f the temp on this card is great. But I wanted to higher my TPD since they added the support of voltage I wanted to go to 1006 on core and boost and 270 TDP
  5. Do you have two 780 Ti, or just one + IGPU?

I would try it just with the IGPU disabled and just one in the computer.

I have a one EVGA hook up to the PCIe2.0 16x mode and I have a onboard IGPU that is disable from the BIOS on the motherboard but it a 780A chipset. It still pick the ROM inside the BIOS from the DOS from the motherboard system.

I have flash this before. Like 10 times but that was 5 months ago. I was trying to find a good stable temp and a good clocking area with this card and I found the sweet spot for this card.

Now they got a new tweaker and I want to see if I can mess around with the bios and testing different clocks and finding a good sweet spot. Now I can't even do it I try 3 different flash program and the 1.27 I can't even find a 1.26 to download do you know where to find a 1.26? I have 1.25 and 1.27

This sucks man. I think I know what it is... It might because I have a sound card creative x-fi fatal1ty titanium champion edition that is on the another PCIe slots. I might pull this off and see what happens. But started to get tired and give up on it lol.. I try again later on today and I will report and let you know what I have done so far.

I don't believe its fake, pretty sure I downloaded it from there before, linked from somewhere else.

Ok I found out how to get that download just click on the green one and close the spam of are you a boy or girl lol.. and It will save the file. The other are spam and spyware watch out lol..

Well buddy I am stuck man. I don't know why my video card will not let me flash it I am so clue less. I may need to boot to DOS but I forgot how to boot as to DOS with out windows. If I boot to DOS maybe it will allowed me to flash my card.

I done try unlocking the protection it said invalid EEPROM and it act like it doesn't know what it is.. It like the card completely hidden from the BIOS nvflash program. It doesn't recognized it. It saying wrong type of a EEPROM.
I wish I could by pass this. And force this to flashed.

I wanted to get another 780 GTX TI to be able to SLI. I already have a backplate and flowbrackets for the next card as I did to this card.

If the BIOS on my video card not working then why is my card working fine? If it corrupted then why is it still there I thought you can flash them over. I find this odd.

I did pulled my sound card out that have no effect. I don't know what to do. I really want to flash this card back to stock as I had it but I also wanted to set it up right have it clocked right.

Oh well man I guess I can never be able to have a normal overclock bios for my Video card.
  10. Ha I got it man. OMG so Odd. I guess I can give myself a slap in the face. Nvflash --index=1 10GK110.rom My called name Ashley 0_0

Oh so it was just named different?
  12. Thanks you sir yes it was named different. I don't know how this changed but it did.. I feel dumb
  13. Cool, well glad you got it sorted. Raising that bottom max power target can help quite a bit, stops it limiting to a max of 266w

Have you tried using Kepler Golden bios too? Makes some good voltage unlocks and adjustments if you are still altering the standard bios.
  14. No I haven't. I would like to. But I did used the 1.27 for this BIOS. I wish I was wet on this card. If I had it loop then I would upper it. But seam like this BIOS have a lower TDP as being on desktop mode than the normal stock BIOS odd.. before it was 6.7 now it 5.7. I did upper the DDR on Clock State desktop mode aka P08 to 433Mhz it is now at 216mhz before it was 324Mhz as it was 162Mhz. Seam like my IE scrolling seam faster lol.. Odd I might leave it at 933 and upper the voltage on that P08 to a reach of 1012 v and P05 at 1866 on DDR

What the different does this Golden do? Where do you download this one?
  15. Kepler golden bios just unlocks some features on the bios you already have and raises the power target, im struggling to find it again now though...

You might consider the Kraken G10 and a AIO if you want to cool your card further, I did this on my GTX 680 and it lowers the temps massively, even using a cheap AIO like the H55 - Just make sure you get some heatsinks for your VRMs if you do go this path.
  16. Just to gives more information. Don't not change the P08 into DDR 1866Mhz or above on clock state. It does gives some artifacts at that rated speed. Change it to 933 will becomes 466.5Mhz DDR on desktop will be 12.6 TPD and change it to 466Mhz will becomes 233Mhz and it ride at 5.6 to 5.7 TPD. I did left the P05 at 933MHZ on clock state seam prefect. But did changed the P08 to 466MHz and not 433Mhz and got improved TPD how odd. Anyway everyone out there. Besafe and happy clocking :D
  17. Here my finale testing for Stock EVGA 780 GTX Ti stock cooling 2881 model with no fan profile.. If you done better and less heat and less stress and better clocking ability let me know.

No matter what If I change the TDP to 276 watts or more the temp goes up and if I lower the TDP to than 274 watts and lower to 252 TDP the heat doesn't change. If I lower the TDP than 250 heat start to go back up from range from 252 to 236 TDP. but at 954mhz core clock seam to be stable and cooled at that area and till below 232 TPD in watts seam to make the chip goes back being hotter. Odd I say. I have gone clocking over 1006 to 1032.5MHZ the temp stay at 83c and 84C. Above 1043 the temp max out to 85c and beyond on and fan hit above 70% and more. Good luck on many trys on overclocking. It hard to find an great sweet spot for this GK110 chip. And this chip is a 68.6 on ASIC Quality
  18. Just an update on all those BIOS. I would lower the first Power Table to def and max to the rating of 266watts is 266000 and the last power table to 266000 266 watts on def and max. The 275 watts is a bad idea it little to high on stock I did stress on all BIOS the TDP is little to high on valley and EGVA stress test. On the BIOS 0GK11.rom I hit 87c Crazy and I hit 94c on the other two BIOS and the last bios you don't want to know it like 100c and driver profile recovered like 5 times and computer reset. So I think I have a pretty good card.
  19. Yeah you really need better cooling if you are going to have the power target that much higher I guess.
