I want to build a new computer for video editing using programs such as adobe premier pro, final cut pro, Photoshop and after effects. I have licenses for some of these program on mac so would like the computer to dual boot windows and mac os mavericks as a hackintosh.
This is what I have come up with, could someone please give me advice if this is an appropriate build for my needs, as specific parts are needed to work with mac os.

I am looking at spending around £1500, I already have peripherals.

You should use i7 4790k now with ASRock Extreme 6 per http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/enthusiast-z97-motherboard-overclock,3893-27.html.
You should really get a better cooler for the i7 and faster memory and a better power supply.

The CPU is the most powerful quad core and should be enough for your needs: i7 4790k

The Noctua D14 is the best air cooler around, keeps CPU very cool and is really quiet.

EXTREME4 Z97 for good OCing if you ever need to OC with that already pretty fast CPU.

2400MHz/CL10 RAM for faster data speed, will help a lot in CPU intensive tasks.

250GB SSD + 4TB HDD.

R9 290X Lightning, a beast GPU capable of extreme loads on 4k/ 3XFHD/ 2X1440p.

A good case to pack it all.

An extremely good (the best quality actually) Tier 1 PSU.

Windows 8.1 w/ DVD writer.

Will be a beast PC to suit your needs :)
