Hi guys, I am doing a build and I already have the case and I am going with a i5 4670k and will overclock it a bit but I have no clue about overclocking so I will probably use the MSI OC Genie which comes with my board. Here is the parts list ( http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/qQwHqs ) Anyways, basically the spec 03 says it has a maximum CPU cooler height of 157mm but the hyper 212 evo is 159mm high, So even though it is only 2mm difference, will it still fit??

More about : cooler master hyper 212 evo corsair spec

Maybe. Possibly not, but it could do. Sometimes the specified max cpu cooler height is less than it actually is.
If you're not that bothered about possibly wasting £25, go for it. If you don't want to end up spending money on the 212 and then on another cpu cooler then don't.

I wouldn't try. You really need at least 162mm so thumping on the side panel won't damage the cooler.

Try fitting a 159mm peg in a 157mm hole... it might work but some percussive persuasion could be required.

Based on numbers alone, it should not. But we do not know exactly how much tolerance both manufacturers allow themselves just in case. Corsair might spec maximum cooler height one or two millimeters below the maximum possible to be on the safe side and CoolerMaster might quote a height a millimeter or two taller just in case their heatpipes get crimped slightly longer than normal.

None of the Spec series CASES are compatible with the EVO.
