can i change the motherboard if i have windows 8 oem, i have an intel pentium and a msi motherboard but wanna change it to a i5 3330 and high spec motherboard. quick response will be great !

No, the os is tied to the components so you will need a new copy I think

No, the OS will be deactivated.
If you got a prebuilt pc like HP, the licence is tied to that motherboard.
If you bought the Window 8 seperately, you can reuse the product key. You may need to call up Microsoft to reactivate Windows.

If you change the motherboard in a system that already has an activated OS, it will deactivate.
If it is the same model as the previous motherboard, it may be still activated.
