Throwing out a bad XION 700W PSU. System crashes trying to run a new AMD R9 280x OC (visiontek) GPU recommends 750w

Would http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Get the job done? I've been told you don't need the 750w AMD only states that to be safe.

I don't have a fancy rig. Two harddrives,GPU DVD drive that's about it

The PSU you listed is good but you wouldn't need a Gold certificate as it is only about 5% more deficient that a Bronze.

I recommend any 600W (more than enough) by Antec, EVGA, SeaSonic, Thermaltake or XFX.

Check this out to make a wise decision.

That Rosewill unit is a very good unit and at a very attractive price. It'll handle the R9 280X with ease, it has headroom for upgrades and overclocking.

Yes , the 650W Capstone can get the job done easily.

It has enough power and it's made by the best in the business Super Flower.
