Hello, I came here to ask if I buy this monitor and use a converter Displayport -> DVI-D, will I still be able to reach the 144hz? This is my only option because I'm using a laptop which only has HDMI, DisplayPort and Mini-DisplayPort, else I will be forced to buy the Asus VG248QE since it has a DisplayPort included already.
If this is true, does something like this work? http://www.pcdiga.com/2/9924/Adaptador-Activo-Disp.. , it's written in Portuguese but it's an active converter, will a passive one do the job? From what I understood, I only need an active converter for things like Eyefinity.
Also, MiniDisplayPort -> DisplayPort (in case I buy the Asus) will it also work?
