Need Help! Intake and exhaus Case fan setup!!!

Sup guys! I have a corsair 550w PSU which I have installed with its big intake fan facing down, in my cabinet that has a top mounted slot for PSU. Now my case has 1 intake at the front and one intake on the side and no fan on the back grill and no fan slot on top. I have an aftermarket antec a20 cpu cooler on the processor with a vertical throw fan. I wanted to install an exhaust fan 120mm on the back grill but I face 2 problems.

1 - Would placing a exhaust fan on the back of the case hinder the airflow of the PSU fan that would be just above it or

2 - Instead of an exhaust fan on the back grill I should simply rely on the PSU fan to do the exhaust work.

Any help or suggestion is highly appreciated... M confused as f**k.

a good setup will be like

one/two intake at the front and at least one exhaust at the back. This is often good enough for a build which is not overclocked.

Almost all modern cases have bottom mounted PSU. that is much better solution

As you have an aftermarket CPU cooler I would say get a back exhaust and you are good :)

Thanks for your suggestion bluemoon. But as I was saying my PSU fan is like doing the same exhaust work at the back. If I'm putting an exhaust fan at the back would it cut in the amount of air the PSU is sucking to cool off itself. PSUs tend to get hot don't they?

Yes, PSU's take cool air, and they exhaust from the back, keeping the internal components cool. If you get a exhaust fan, the inside of the case will be cooler so the PSU will be cooler than now.

But ideally the PSU's should be able to get air from the outside, that is why bottom mounted PSU's are common now. If you have a CX/ VS it's rated only at 30 C, so I would suggest thinking about getting a new case down the line.

Currently my system has no dedicated video card, won't be gaming anyways for now just dosbox and jdk. But I'll be getting a mid to high end gpu this Diwali or may be Christmas so I'll get a proper case then. Anyways thanks for your help. :)
