Just built my computer and it wont turn on....help please what did I do wrong?

Hey guys I just built my pc and it wont turn on when I press the power button....no fans spinning...no lights...no sound from the speaker....nothing :( I posted on this forum about my parts and my case has a usb 3.0 and 2.0 port and im not hooking the usb 3.0 cable up to anything because my motherboard doesnt support it....is that possibly why it wont start..? Could it be my power supply? I was confused when it came to hooking up all the power supply cables and I had trouble getting my 24 pin connector in but I got it in after pushing and wiggling it...now my hands hurt.

You've given us very little to work with. What are your complete system specs including model numbers? Have you actually performed EVERY step in the checklist linked above. It was created for this exact type of problem and will help you determine what's causing the problem if you actually perform every step.
