I have a very old PC that used to be my gaming machine. I now use it for VM player and for some video editing. I have noticed my old E6850 is running it's little brains out and decided to buy a used QX6850 to give it a boost.
I currently have an old Cooler Master Aquagate S1 water-block/pump combo that is also backed up by an old thermal-take 750 pump. The pumps push through a 240mm radiator two 8800gts ssc gpu's and a swiftek mini reservoir.
The cpu hasn't arrived as I just bought it today but I am wondering if the block will be enough to keep the cpu cool because the QX6850 has about double the TDP of my E6850.
Opinions?
