I currently have a a8 6660k apu build with no gpu, I was wondering if it would be better to upgrade to a a10 7850k apu and a dedicated gpu ( not sure which to pair it with( any recommendations?)) ,

I was also looking into the fx 8320 cpu and getting a gigabyte 750ti gpu for the upgrade, which will be more realistic in giving me the most performance for the money?

My budget is around 300$ not including the motherboard if I choose the FX processor.

Also I am looking into ram upgrade, I currently have 4gb ddr3 1333mhz ram, I know the apu would need high speed ram, is that true?

If I go with the FX cpu, what is a good recommendation ?

I do editing, trans-coding and gaming.
Thank you

No point in upgrading the APU, you're looking at a marginal performance increase.

If you're looking for better performance, simply add a GPU. A r9 270 or 750ti will do the trick. Also another 4GB of ram might help. If you're still not satisfied with the performance after that, you could always get a CPU upgrade.

If your PSU can handle it, your best upgrade would be a discreet graphics card.

The A10-7850's CPU isn't fast enough to be a worthwhile switch from your A8.

You could switch to an i5, but after the CPU and motherboard you won't have much money left for graphics.

My budget is 300, what gpu would be the best performance to price ratio?, I do alot of game making in unity and trans-coding, video editing

I was looking at the ax 760 psu from corsair for an upgrade psu.

Thank you :D
