Hello THW!

I'm currently installing W7 pro from USB on my new desktop which i have built myself. I'm getting stuck at the "setup was unable to create a new system partition or locate an existing system partition"

I've looked through some solutions, but none have helped. When I look through the command prompt, it says I don't have any partitions. I've tried a lot of different stuf.. :s
No matter what I do, I cant find get a system type harddisk on like 100 mb on the harddrive select page.

i5-4690k
MSI z97-g43
samsug 840evo 120gb ssd

any ideas?

You might have already tried this, but have you tried the 'Custom' installation method? I've heard on Microsoft's site that you can apparently create a new partition this way.

Might have replied twice in a row, but if you can get to CMD, try this:
Type 'disk part'
Type 'create primary drive'
After it's done, type 'list disk'

If it won't create a partition then this answer might be wrong haha
