I currently own a r9 280x vapor x should i go ahead and crossfire it with a r9 280x toxic???

Current spec


Processor - INTEL i7 4790k devils canyon(haswell refresh) @ 4.6ghz on 1.26v
Motherboard- ASUS REPUBLIC OF GAMERS MAXIMUS VII HERO
RAM- G.SKILL RIPJAWSX 2x4GB 2133mhz
Cooler- corsair h80i liquid cooler with noctua nt-h1
Graphic card- SAPPHIRE R9 280x VAPOX 3gb
PSU- COOLER MASTER silent pro M 850w
CABINET- corsair air 540 HIGH AIRFLOW (with 3x CM jetflows and 2x CORSAIR AF140)
Lighting- NZXT HUE RGB Controller
Fan controller- NZXT GRID fan controller
Harddisk- WD caviar green 500Gb

That would be great and fine but remember one card is better than 2 cards in sli most of the time so what I would sell my r9 280x for £150 on ebay get the £240 from the other r9 280x and get a good r9 290x or even a gtx 780 maybe? Hope this helped-Le_Hazzard

The 280x is a great high end card for Xfire. By all means if you can, Crossfire.

He is asking if he should Xfire or not, not if he wants to sell his GPU's and buy a new Nvidia one.

Crossfired r9 280x vaporX with xfx black edition r9 280x
And the prob is that i dont even get a 10 fps boost in bf4

Try new drivers lol one card is at 100% the next is at XX percent etc, more cards the less performance per added card so idk if that xFire is ok idk new drivers/driver updates or new xFire bridge idk maybe mobo bios
