msi gtx 760 twin frozr oc temperature

Actually my PC cabinet was very small and clumsy so I changed It and give the GPU proper space for better airflow and ventilation .My room temperature is about and above 30 degrees so The Idle temperature shows 38 to 42 degrees and at load in gaming It shows maximum 81 degrees. I think this temperature is normal for the card. That's what MSI afterburner is showing now . Please can you kindly tell me after this temperature reading Is my GPU's condition is normal ?

81C is a little bit high but nothing unusually. r9 290X usually runs at that temperature.

its how nvidia built the 7xx series cards... it's got an adaptive turbo feature that basically overclocks the card automatically up to it's thermal limits (i think it aims for something like 75C-85C )

so yeah... that's pretty normal.

81 is very high. My 760 runs at around 61C.
How many case fans do you have? There must be a reason for this.

yes that's my limit there on load 75C-81C. And my card can run watch dogs on close to ultra with textures high and other settings ultra but ambient occlusion,depth of field and motion blur off. framerate on fraps is 46. which is pretty fast for me.

Before 81 my temp was 99 and 101. So I changed my cabinet and give more space to now Its much cooler even temp remains in between 72 to sometimes 81.
Like you say 61 C, My room temperature is alone 35C and it's not air conditioned. So I think the temp is justified.
I am from India actually and you can check our current temp now specifically of Odisha. In case of cooling I just changed my cabinet and it got space for fans also. So I will definitely want to upgrade it very soon.

ah yes, I suppose so. It's very cold here at the moment and I have 3 case fans at the front and one big one at the back.

Not sure yet man, I can't remember exactly. I think I've seen it get to around 70C, but it only gets to around 25C here in Hobart, Australia in the summer.

My god your temp is 4 degrees now. Man that's must be chilled.
25C is our winter temperature so I think room temp is also affected GPU's temperature. As per Nvidia the reference card's max temp is 97C so I think this is OK.
