I've just built my first PC and I've been having problems with the display.

Right now, my GPU is set as Primary Display in BIOS. The PC boots with GPU fine and reaches the bars loading screen of Windows 7. As soon as the loading is done, it switches over to the Onboard Graphics. (One thing to note is that the GPU loads in 640x480 res and the POST screen is cut off from the sides)

I have been able to use Windows in safe mode with the GPU but in normal mode, it doesn't load. And my NVIDIA Control Panel cant be accessed because it says there is no display attached to GPU (obviously since I can only see screen when attached to motherboard).

MoBo - GIGABYTE GA B85M D3H
GPU - GIGABYTE GTX 750 ti

Things I have done:
Updated GPU drivers
Updated MoBo
Checked for errors in Safe mode with GPU

so what you mean is you don't get passed the windows start screen and stuck there? try reinstall your driver. but first get into safe mode and uninstall nvidia driver. if that does not work try using softwares like DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) from Guru3D to do driver sweep on nvidia driver. did you use driver from supplied disk or the latest one from nvidia?

I did try reinstalling it but I ran into more problems like BIOS not showing.

Right now I have reinstalled Windows 7 and the GPU was working fine. I downloaded the latest driver from the NVIDIA website and once I installed that, then the same problem started. I dont have a CD Drive otherwise I would have used the CD provided.

Going to restore to a point before the driver install and then see from there.
