Hi! I wanted to build my gaming rig, I had all the components checked here on the forum very kindly by Tradesman1, but I still have a doubt: is it best to have more Vram on the 760 or less vram but the more powerful 770? I mostly play Minecraft (modded quite heavily), Skyrim and rpgs (maybe modded) and first person shooters. Which one should I get and why? I also might go sli with that card in the future
Thanks!

The GTX 770 is a beast of a card. I have the 4GB version and can play any game on max settings. The only reason I got the 4GB version is because I use three monitors running at 1920x1080 so if you only use one or two monitors then go with the 2GB. You won't see a difference in framerate between the two with a single monitor.

Even if you were using a monitor setup where 4 GB might see some use, the GTX 760's GPU is just not beefy enough for good framerates at such a resolution anyway. If you're gaming at 1080p, either the 760 or 770 are appropriate but don't bother with the 4 GB versions.

More vram would be needed if there is more load on your video card such as split screen gaming or working on 3 or more monitors...

But for 1 or 2 monitors, a more powerful GPU will give a better visual result...You can even go 4k on a 770 but maybe not with a 760

Anyone would suggest a GTX770
&
2GB of GTX770 is sufficient enough for casual gaming and work load
