Upgrading my graphics card
Hi I want to replace my vtx3d radeon 7850 x-edition. My budgets around £350 any suggestions ?
Do you prefer AMD? If so Scan.co.uk have a MSI 290X for £360 - http://www.scan.co.uk/products/4gb-msi-radeon-r9-290x-twin-frozr-iv-28nm-5000mhz-gddr5-gpu-1040mhz-2816-streams-dport-dvi-hdmi
If you'd prefer to move to an Nvidia GPU then you're looking at a 780 like this - http://www.dabs.com/products/msi-geforce-gtx-780-902mhz-3gb-pci-express-3-0-hdmi-twin-frozr-oc-8VF5.html?utm_source=google&utm_medium=ppc%20product%20search&utm_campaign=Components%20and%20Storage%20-%20Graphics,%20TV%20Tuners%20and%20I/O%20-%20Graphics

Better performance in video/image rendering
Less noise and heat
More stream processors
Sometimes it's just more powerful.
Stream Processors and CUDA core cannot be compared in an "Apples to Apples" numbers kind of way and Direct CU is an Asus cooler and bugger all to do with AMD, I have Direct CU coolers on my Nvidia cards.
