using two gatewat routers one as router and other an extender

it honestly depends on the routers. yes it might be able to use as an extender if the firmware allows it to. hook up depends. what are the model #'s of both of them, ill see if I can help you more toward hook up and config

Using a router as a repeater is a feature that some of them, but not all can do. Need to go to the website of the router and see if it can do it or not.
