Looking to make my iracing experience better with either a triple setup of 60hz 27" screens or a single 27" 144hz monitor. I find my Asus 27" has some blur to my eye. Not sure how that translates to x3 monitors. This will be run by an EVGA GTX 780.

Current Asus 27 is a VE278Q. Response time advertised as 2ms, so it's pretty fast.

Also looking for a thin bezel 3 screen setup if that's the best setup chosen.

I use my 144hz for racing games, but I am not a hardcore racing sim fan. I am more of a counter strike player. I saw a big benefit from using the 144hz in counter strike because the display feels more synchronized with your input. Racing was a very subtle benefit. I did notice hooking up a wheel that the wheel on the 144hz screen was in perfect sync with my actual wheel with no input lag. On my previous 60hz monitor, I noticed the wheel on the screen would always move a few milliseconds after I made the action, so in a sense it can more immersion using the 144hz.

If you really like racing games then it's DEFENTLY 3 screens for you.

Personally I don't see that much of a difference going from 25fps to 60fps in racing. (Using my iPhone 4 in Real Racing 3 and im getting 5-25fps, still having a good time and not getting any extra challenge from the lag really)

Now the 144hz monitor is mostly for if you're going to mainly play FPS titles, that's where the greater response and number of frames really benefit you and your aim. In racing i don't see what you would gain since you can have a great experience even on a TV screen with lots of delay and a constant 30-40fps. *cough* like on consoles *cough*

The triple setup is more of a showoff in most cases, side screens looks stretched in some FPS titles and won't benefit your play at all. Though in racing games it's another story. That's where you'll really have a fun time with your tri-setup. So if you're mainly playing racing games, defently pick up 3 monitors. ;)

I have 3 27" 2560x1440 60Hz monitors, for iRacing and other games. I also have 2 R9 290 cards in crossfire. In iRacing I can get pretty good frame rates, but not 144, so there is no point to get 144Hz monitors for a racing game, the movement on screen just isn't fast enough to need more than 60HZ/60 fps. First person shooters are different of course.

I do notice a difference when v-sync is off, and I get fps varying from 100-25, it doesn't feel smooth. If I turn on v-sync and turn down the options enough to where I can get a constant 60fps, then the physics and everything feel much better.

I don't know that your GTX 780 will be enough for an acceptable fps on 3 1080p monitors... It definitely won't be enough for 3 1440p monitors.

In the same predicament for sim racing, which Benq did you get? And did you get only one, or triples? TIA.
