My Setup
CPU: Core i5 4570
MOBO: Asus Z87M Plus
RAM: Kingston 8gb (2x4)
GPU: (using Haswell-Iris)
HHD: Samsung Evo 840
PSU: Corsair GS700 (edit)

I recently got a new case for all my components. After reinstalling them all, however, I'm not getting any response when I hit the power button. I've triple checked all the connections, and everything looks good. The motherboard light glows when the PSU is plugged in, and I tested the PSU with the paperclip test and a PSU tester. Even though I was cautious (I use an anti-static strap), I'm afraid I may have fried my motherboard during the transfer. I tried switching back to the old case, but still get no response from the computer.

So what do you think? Dead motherboard?

Update: I have checked and checked again the Power SW plug. It's plugged in correctly. I've tried jumping the Power SW pins on the board in both cases.

I highly doubt you fried the mobo wearing the wrist band. One reason it might not turn on is if you have the power switch 2-pin cable plugged in the wrong pins.

24 pin and 8 pin CPU power are fitted snug into the board?

Yes. I've seated and reseated both 24 pin and 8 pin connectors in the board. They're both snug and clipped in.
