I recently bought a new 1150 motherboard and the 4790k processor. Installing my new processor I I must have damaged a few of the pins by bending them and one seemed to left a small mark on the contact pad off center. A fe of the damaged pens are actually broke off and I've already accepted the loss on the board, but I'm wondering what the chances are the cpu is still fine. Their is no other damage signs other than the small dot on the edge of the pad where it looks like a bent pin stabbed it.
