Ever since my laptop broke down earlier this month I've been looking into building a gaming PC. I have a maximum $1000 budget but the total cost must include a copy of Windows 7, a keyboard, a monitor, an optical drive (DVD will be fine) a wireless wifi-adapter and speakers.
Also I have another issue of where I'm going to put my PC. The case that I've picked for my build is the biggest I can go in terms of size, I don't have room for a bigger case. Also my monitor size maxes out at 22 inches.
I've been looking into several builds but I don't have any real way of knowing which builds are good, and which builds aren't so good. Any and all feedback would be appreciated, my build is listed below.

The problem with this build (for me) is that it doesn't include the OS and the case is a bit too big for my desk. Is there anything wrong with the case I initially chose?

Awful sorry he doesn't have the money to spend on expensive GPU's if he had more I would have suggested th GTX 780 3GB clearly you didn't understand that I knew that GPU was a little older its just like I said that he doesn't have that much money the GTX 780 3GB cost $450 alone so I understand

i didnt mean to be offensive, its just at the moment the gains from Hyper threading technology dont justify the extra hundred or so over the i5 4690k. With the money saved he could certainly afford a better GPU from the current generation.

@dragonslayyed11 Not to be mean.. But that is an awful build. ): Overkill cpu since he just wants to game and it's matched with a bad gpu.. There's also no monitor.. He should just go with an i5/gtx 760 or R9 280. Plus.. A z87 with a locked mobo? He also won't be able to upgrade unless he buys another mobo.
