I just put together my first gaming PC. The system boots up and everything works, but the graphics card. The graphics card is set into the motherboard and is connected to the power supply by a 6+2 and 6 pin connector. When I turn the system on, the fans on the GPU run, but it is not recognized in the MSI board explorer or in the Windows Device Manager. I also get no signal when I plug my monitor into the GPU, but I do when it is plugged into the Integrated Graphics. I can't find out why it is not working. Any help is appreciated!

Have you installed your drivers online? Have you made sure you installed it into the pcie slot correctly?

-Update: If your motherboard is not supported with integrated graphic cpu then thats why its not working.

It won't let me install the graphics card drivers since it is not being recognized. I have also made sure to install it into the PCI-E slot correctly also, several times.

You might have a defective card my friend. Try RMA'ing it. If you bought it from Amazon, they have a very good RMA process. They give you the product first before you take the old one back to them.

I ordered it from TigerDirect. The graphics card is defective. I tried it in my friend's system and it wasn't recognized, but when I tried his graphics card it was detected in my system. I'm not exactly sure how RMA works at TigerDirect, or if I can even RMA it, since it was ordered about 20 days ago. I think I might have to send it back to MSI. :(
