So i decided to build a new PC with a ~$700 budget, and i couldn't decide what graphics card to buy. I'm trying to decide between the MSI R9 270 OC edition (http://www.amazon.com/MSI-Computer-Corp-270-GAMING/dp/B... couldnt find a newegg link) and the EVGA GeForce GTX 750ti ftw edition (http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E1681...)

I'll be running on a AMD fx-6300 with 8gb of Kingston HyperX blu ram and a ASUS M5A97 R2.0

Which one of these cards should i get, not based on price?

More about : msi 270 evga gtx 750ti ftw

The 750Ti is more of a competitor with its rival the 260x. So from this I can conclude that 270 is a better card but not a significant difference. So if you go with AMD it will be cheaper and as good. :)

A R9 270 overclocked is definitely significantly better than a GTX 750Ti. Getting 10fps more is an improvement.
With the GTX 750 Ti, you lose slight performance for low power consumption.

270 will easily win the battle between the two but you need to double check your PSU of you're going to pick 270 since the card need two 6pin from power supply.

He will likely see far more than 10 more FPS, the 270x is even faster and costs the same as the 270 in a lot of retailers. Not even sure why there is a 270.

A R9 270 is there so you can overclock it to almost the same performance of an overclocked R9 270X at a lower price. Before the price difference of the R9 270 and R9 270X was quite significant compared to now.
