Time to replace my motherboard?

For over a half a year now, I've been experiencing issues with the blue screen code 116, I tried many different things to fix it, but I still end up crashing, the weirdest thing though is I only crash when attempting to play CS:GO on steam, every other game I have works fine especially more intensive ones like ARMA 3 and BF4.

I replaced my GPU today in the hopes of fixing my issue, but within 5 minutes I crashed on CS:GO with my new card. I feel like the culprit of my crashes is my motherboard as it's the only logical thing left that could be causing it from my view. Does this seem like it's a motherboard issue?

Any other details I can provide to help you help me, let me know.,

Thanks.

Are there beta drivers available for the card that you can try?

I currently have the latest drivers installed for my card, but before I put in the new 760 over the 660ti, I had used 4 different driver types with it and always end up crashing on CS:GO no matter what I do.

Doesn't seem like it would be your board if it's just that one game.

What other options do I have? Also it's not just the one game that crashes, any game that uses the Source engine crashes for me, Insurgency and CS:GO both run on source and are the only games that crash for me, I've been trying to fix this for over half a year and I'm frankly annoyed and tired of it as it stops me from enjoying gaming with my friends because I can't play the one game they all have.

I'm just lost as to what else could be causing this issue, it's not the GPU, as I just replaced it, not my hard drives, not my RAM, only thing I can think of is my motherboard.

Any other possibilities to what may be causing my issue? Like I said the only logical thing I can think of is my motherboard, but if someone who's had experience with this issue can help, I'd appreciate it, I'm at the end of the road here.

Are there any known ways to fix this? This is the thing that's been causing me issues with CSGO and blue screening since March of this year.. and I haven't been able to find one source to be able to help me in that time.

It's a graphics error , Did you try OS reinstall?

Not since when I replaced my faulty hard drive back in March or so that caused me other blue screen errors.

I haven't seen a way to do that, I had searched before but read you cannot uninstall DirectX?

Also I just tried a few things on valves forums and I played for about 4 minutes until my game froze so I task manager it and then my Hard Drive that has steam and CSGO on it, completely disappears from my computer until I restart it and then my hard drive is shown again.

At the moment, no I have the original BIOS downloaded, but before that, I did have the latest everything and was still crashing on CS:GO.

And as I put in the original title and post was I feel it's my motherboard, I just put in a brand new 270$ card and I'm still crashing as I was with my original GPU, I've done many memtest which all positive, the only thing I can think is my motherboard. But even then it's weird to me that only CSGO and other source engine games are the ones that crash, everything else runs 100%.

The thing is it's not just CSGO, another game which runs on the same engine also crashes for me called Insurgency. They all run on the source game engine and only two games to crash my computer.

I've also deleted and re-installed both said games multiple times on multiple drives and having it's be over half a year now of these issues is really pissing me off. As I said, the last resort I can think of is hardware issue and it's my motherboard.

I'd almost say something in their coding doesn't like something in your rig if all else is fine, have you contacted Steam?

I've ordered a new MOBO and ram that I'll install tomorrow and God Forbid I still crash I'll attempt to contact them. Otherwise it's hard to for game specific issues I've seen, but thanks for your input and help.

So for a day now I've had all my new stuff installed and everything was running fine. Just now while playing CSGO AGAIN, I crashed with error code 116. Someone at microsoft is telling me it can be heat related, but I should have ZERO heat issues as EVERYTHING is new and my case has 6 FANS and my window is open, I did fine during the day when the sun is out, but at night I crash? I'm seriously at a loss for words now, I'm absolutely fed up at this point.

Could be your power supply forcing an issue on your GPU.

you should check your temps during load though, are you using speccy? or some other monitor software?
