I just finished build my new computer 1st time building one. I have a i7 4790k with a water cool loop xspc rx240. When i turned on my comp and went to ROG bios it says that my cpu is running at 4.0 ghz with a temp of 30-32 idle. Is that safe or what? I did use the thermal paste that came with the xspc. Now im thinking if i should buy arctic silver 5. Loop still have little bit of air. Mobo i have is asus Hero vii. Fan i used for the rad are the stock ones that came with the kit.

30c is extremely good 30 c is only 86F which is just about room temp depending on your room

Don't know but 30 ish for idle is very good and normal, just test it on prime95 as they stress the cpu alot so just see what the temps are during tyest
