please help with my mic

ok so i bough razer kraken pros i know they are not supposed to be amazing studio quality headphones but i feel like they shouldn't sound like crap so I have this hum oin the background and i want to get rid of it first i had my rig i built on the desk plugged into a surge protector so i unplug the surge protector and put it right into the wall nothing changes i tightened all the screws in my computer still doesnt work i moved it to the floor still doesnt work but what i have noticed is everytime i put my hand on a piece of metal on my computer like the case or the top metal plate on the hard drive the hum disaperd please help

Are you sure the sound isn't coming from a case fan? (holding your hand on it would eliminate the gap). It could be a fan bearing starting to go, or it just becoming loose.

I know for a fact that those Razer headsets are notorious for sketchy mic quality, wouldn't be surprised if the sound was suspect as well.
