Can i overclock?

I recently built my first rig and I'm wondering can i/is there any point in over clocking my cpu (I use mostly for gaming)
Board gigabyte g1 sniper b5
Cpu haswell i7 4770 non k
Gpu vapor x r9 280x
Ram corsair Vengeance 2 x 8 GB DDR3-2133

Any help much appreciated.

The non K is locked, you have to get a K version to OC

dont think you can overclock a non k version, and no real need to if you are gaming.

I have heard that but I also heard you can clock a non k as well?

it gets a bit complicated and wouldnt recommend it, it also depends on the motherboard too. and you would most likely need a good CPU cooler to pull it off too.

but in the end all that isnt needed, your system should do just fine without overclocking
