I've recently built a new computer based on the i7 4790K and ASRock's Z97 Extreme 4 motherboard. My previous rig was a good 8 years old, so I knew I was behind the times, but I didn't realize how far behind until I tried to understand and set up the BIOS. I'm running v.1.30.
In particular, I'd like to know what are good, stable settings for my cpu -- voltage, etc. ... I don't necessarily want to overclock for now -- at least not until I have a better idea how the various controls work together. The manual was not very helpful.
If you have a similar setup, would you mind sharing your cpu settings? Thanks in advance.
