Hi Tom's Hardware! I'm new to the forum, and that's mostly because I've never considered building a serious gaming rig up until now. Considering a mid-tier build of 90k Rupees ($1500 approx.), keep in mind the pieces i've considered below are all subject to availability and pricing in India. My usage involves a lot of MMO Gaming with hours and hours of eye strain, including a few top tier single players I sometimes Indulge on. All in all, looking for a rig I probably won't have to upgrade for a few years (3-4). Please advice.

Here is a link to the list of parts :

Kindly assist in determining if I'm on the right track and if there are any serious changes that I need to consider.

I am fairly unsure about the GPU most of all.

On PCPart Picker the cost of this setup is $1143. It's costing me around $1500 (strict) to build this rig in India.

PS : I have never over clocked any components of a PC before, and I am unsure about voiding the warranty. I obviously will consider doing it after reading up thoroughly.

Hi, That motherboard is a micro-atx motherboard, but you have an atx mid tower case. It will still work, But you might want to go with an atx motherboard for the upgradability in the futre (multiple gpu's etc...). The CPU you chose is stuill a great choice, But if it is the same price (often cheaper) I would recommend the i5-4690K instead. It is slightly improved over the 4670k. That PSU is also a lower quality one. The final thing is i would recommend getting 2x 4gb ram sticks, so they will run in dual channel. Here is the build with a few tweaks.

CPU Cooler: Cooler Master...

Hi Samsamproducts,

The Ram you recommend, isn't available easily in India. What other brand of 2x 4gig 1600 do you recommend? Also, I was unable to find an ASRock Z97 Extreme 3, but found an Extreme 4. I am unsure of the differences between the two, kindly let me know if that's ok. And the PSU too, XFX Psu is not easy to find in India. I have easy access to Cooler Master, Corsair, and Seasonic products. Could you possibly recommend alternatives to the PSU you recommended brand wise please?

Also, the i5-4690K costs $15 more and is easily accessible. Will change that now.

Looking for more recommendations on GPU / PSU / Cabinet.

Thank you Samsamproducts!

Damn, the Z97 Extreme 4 is an ATX Form factor. I can't find one with an LG Form Factor.

Also, the Gigabyte Motherboard I've got up there is not a micro-atx.. Just checked the website. Are you sure about this?

Ah, my bad. I picked the wrong part by mistake. I've replaced it with the right motherboard I'd originally chosen.

This is what I have now.
