I'm getting my first PC soon, and I want to know wherever these specs are...well...decent enough to run most games at medium quality.

- Corsair Builder Series CX 600 Watt ATX/EPS 80 PLUS Bronze Power Supply Unit.
- AMD APU A10 6800K Black Edition Quad Core Processor (Socket FM2, 4.1GHz, 4MB, 100W, AD680KWOHLBOX, Richland, Turbo Core 3.0 Technology, Virtualization Technology.
- XFX Radeon HD 7850 DD Edition Graphics Card (2GB, GDDR5
- WD 1TB 3.5 inch Internal Hard Drive - Caviar Blue
- G-Skill 8GB Ripjaws X DDR3 2133 Dual Kit
- Gigabyte GA-F2A88XM-DS2 M-ATX Motherboard (Socket FM2+, A88X, DDR3, S-ATA 600)

Any help/advice would be great :)

That CPU is made for its integrated graphics. It is pointless to have with a dedicated GPU. What is your budget? I would recommend going with an i3 4330 and an r9 270 instead of that cpu + gpu.

Best solution

Short answer: not really.

APUs like the A10 are dramatically overpriced, since you're not supposed to used video cards with them. You pay mostly for the integrated graphics, and that makes most of the cost pointless when you add a video card.
The Athlon 760K would perform the same for $80 instead of $140, and would work on the same motherboard.
Alternatively, the i3-4150 would perform far better and is much stronger in all games than the A10-6800k, for $120 instead of $140.

Also a very good idea.

The PSU isn't the best choice but will do if it temporary then waiting to upgrade in the future.

I recommend a R7 265 which performs slightly better than the 7850.

You also wouldn't need 2133 MHz as you wouldn't notice much of a difference with a 1866MHz.

I wouldn't go with an A10, maybe a FX-8320 would be a suitable choice for gaming.

That's a great graphics card man, it will run most games at ease on medium settings and even some newer games on high settings without issues. Also the overall build it fine for mid level gaming, you don't need monster machines to play decent games unless you want to play most games on ultra with as much FPS as possible.

If anything tho you can save some money on the RAM sticks and go for a better motherboard

It's just my opinion and he did mention he only wants to play games at medium settings, I'll remove my comment tho if you think it's really bad advice. However he can just follow the best solution.

There's no such thing as an opinion in PC hardware and framerates - that's why benchmarks exist. The Athlon 760K performs the same (well, within 3%) and is way cheaper, while the i3-4150 performs much better and is still a bit cheaper. Recommending an APU with a dedicated video card is just urging the poster to waste money.

I don't want to make this into a battle, but there's no way to give good advice that won't end with someone contradicting your post. I've seen a lot of people regret APU decisions for budget builds on this forum - I'd prefer not to see another.
