My comps have different internet speeds and one is very slow help?

My laptop download speed is 3.31 Mbps, upload is 1.10 Mbps
My newly bought desktop download speed is 1.97 Mbps and 0.25 Mbps :/
The speed on my desktop is not consistent either. There is a time when it went down to 0.11 Mbps upload speed. Desktop is using a ralink wireless LAN card 802.11n
I wanna know if I can increase my upload speed for desktop. I can't locate my wireless lan card in my desktop case either.

I would guess you're getting some sort of interference. Here are some possible causes.

Computer too far away from WAP. Solution: Move PC closer, move WAP closer to PC, or install repeater.
Interference (common with 2.4 GHz wireless): Microwaves, cordless phones, construction of the building.
Of course, it could also be a crappy wireless card.

I believed it's a crappy wireless card because my desktop now connected to my network cable and it still way slower than my wireless laptop.
Also, is it possible if I buy a new wireless adapter card to stick on my comp and still work with the other one on? Especially I already have one wireless card (but I cant find it)
