Intel i5-3450 + better graphicscard VS FX-8320 + medium graphicscard ???

Hello guys!
I was about to buy a FX-8320 with a MOBO for about 290$. When a friend offered me a I5-3450 With a better MOBO for 145$....
Should i buy the i5 instead and put some of that extra money on a better graphics card?
Thank you guys in advance and excuse my bad english (i'm from sweden)

I would say so. I have a 3570k which i run stock at 3.4ghz and it handles anything. The 3450 is 3.1ghz with a turbo boost to 3.5ghz. At 3.5ghz it will play any game on ultra as long as you have the gpu to support it.

But will it also handle newer games like farcry 4 and watchdogs on high-ultra?
