can anybody help me with overclocking steps

Hi.I got the intel g3258 that can be overclock.Question is how to do it on msi bois?I have an MSI H81M-P33 motherboard and deepcool gammax 200 cpu cooler and two case fans runing.What voltages can i put it at to get 4.5 or even 4ghz and how to know if it is stable.Can anybody give me steps to do it or can i just use intels extreme formating utilty that takes out all the guese work

You're going to want to keep the voltages as close to stock levels as possible. There is not formula for overclocking a chip, each chip is unique and will have it's own limits. Start by raising the clockspeed by 0.1 each step until it becomes unstable and shuts down. Like i said.. keep the voltages as low as possible as this will result in major temperature raises.
Stress test any changed with Prime95. I can't comment on MSI's bios as i have not experienced it.
