Hi!
As the title suggest, I'm building a low cost gaming rig specifically for "Single Player" games.
I won't be playing online multiplayer games, ever.
I've come up with the following config. and was wondering if it'll be enough for my needs. If it's not, please explain why and which component(s) needs to be changed.

Note: 1) I'll be gaming at 720p. (Yeah I know it's not 1080p, but i'm OK with it)
2) I'll be re-using my old 18.5" LG monitor which has a res of 720p, 160 GB seagate HDD, LG ODD, cabinet, keyboard and mouse.
3) I don't mind if it can't play the latest games. They're mostly online multiplayer anyways.

CPU: i3 4130.
Mobo: Gigabyte GA H81m S1 or Gigabyte GA H81m DS2.
RAM: Kingston HyperX 4GB DDR3 1600.
GPU: Sapphire Radeon HD 7770 1GB or R7 250x 1GB.
PSU: Antec VP450P.

I've not gone with an AMD build because it is my understanding that Intels are better for single player offline games (which are usually older games that uses a maximum of 2 cores). Correct me if I'm wrong. If there are any single player offline games that utilizes more than 2 cores, please let me know. If possible, list some of your favourite single player offline games as well.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the reply. I don't have a fixed budget but I would like to keep it as low as possible. I'm not much of a gamer. So what do you think? Will the config. that I came up with be enough ?

For the above quoted Configuration by Joeteoh99, you can play all single player games released till now. And even you can play Assassin's Creed Black flag, Call of Duty Ghosts, Batman Arkham Origins, Thief, Watch Dogs and some more recent games (but at low FPS)...!

Have fun then....!

Thanks for the reply Musthaq.. I know Fx 6300 will be better than i3 4130 in the recent titles that utilizes more than 2 cpu cores....But don't you think the i3 4130 rig that I came up with will run Single player games better than an FX 6300 build?

Thanks for the config. I have a question though..Don't you think the i3 rig that I came up with will be better than this fx6300 rig as far as my gaming needs are concerned? I'll be playing only single player offline games. Single player games do not require many cores. They require a max. of two cores. And i3 has 2 fast cores.
