Hello all I upgraded my old GPU to a R9 280 and using a HDMI cable to my 24" Benq monitor now only in videos a get weird pixeling if I pause the video they're gone so I'm assuming its only when its moving.
This happen in Media Center, VLC and even Youtube. Games run fine.
Does anyone have any ideas.

My old GPU didn't have a HDMI output I might try changing leads and seeing if that helps

I have the same problem. I just bought and put together a gaming rig with Gigabyte R9 280 and i5-4590(http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2dJcgs). I am using a HDMI as well, but to a LCD TV 40" TCL(http://www.amazon.com/TCL-L40FHDF12TA-40-Inch-2-Year-Wa...).

When I first hooked up my GPU I used the molex to 6 pin and molex to 8 pin adapters, not realizing my PSU had 6 and 8 pin so I didn't need the adapters(lol). This has made the problem a lot less severe, and hadn't seen any issues until a few minutes ago I was watching a video and it appeared again, but went away when I took the video out of full screen and then put it back in full screen. I dunno if you are using the adapters as well?
I'm thinking maybe it is a PSU issue, but not sure(thinking maybe i needed more than 550w?). I am using Catalyst 14.4, but I disabled it from starting up at the same time I changed my molex adapters. I just built my PC 2 days ago, so I am trying to find a fix for this as well.
I was also having similar pixel issues in Sniper Elite 3 and was running CCC and the Raptr AMD gaming app, but disabled those from starting up with the PC at the same time as changing the molex adapters. I guess I'll try opening CCC and the AMD gaming app and see if that causes this issue again, but my games are running fine as of now up until I was watching IGN videos a few mins ago as posted in the screenshot.

Edit: Oh yeah, I also turned off dynamic backlight and light sensor on my TV.
