I have a problem with my
- Asus P8P67 DELUXE motherbord
- Windows 8.1 x64, and
- Asus FanXpert (Al Suite)
The problem is that the motherbord don't seem to fully support win8, at least regarding Fan Xpert.
To me fan-control is very important, as I need to have as little noise as possible for audio-work.
I installed recommended Al Suite V2.00.12,
but Fan Xpert was missing.
Then I contacted Asus (hoplesly hard to fill out their form though) and asked,
and got the reply that it didn't support win8.
There was no non-support info about this that I could see, so how should I know?
And big disappintment.
Then I saw this thread:

and installed AISuite_II_XPVistaWin7-8-8-1_C5FZ_VER20401.
Now Fan Xpert is showing up.
Yet, I don't get it to work.
My question is:
What do I normally need to get this working? Any bios-settings that needs to be checked?
Do you belive I need to downgrade to win7?
