I'm looking into broadening my gaming experience and capabilities and the laptop that I have now is currently useless for gaming and not exactly easy to upgrade without the use of a soldering gun...

So I have a friend of a friend situation where they're offering their fairly new gaming pc to me for a couple hundred bucks if I'm lucky, but 1) it's a limited time offer/availability if someone asks for it first, and 2) I don't yet know enough about what I'm looking FOR or what I'm looking AT to know if it's a good deal or good enough for the gaming experience I'm hoping to get.

That said, I must reiterate that I'm new to this. So I'm not looking for the BEST stuff right off the bat, more of easing into it. Plus, I don't have the budget for the BEST gaming equipment right now anyway so the couple hundred looks nice by itself.

Anyway, these are the specs for the computer that I know of, but know mostly nothing about:

- enermax ostrog case.
- amd a10 6800k richland cpu
- AMD Radeon HD 8670D onboard
- 8GB crucial ballistix sport ram
- 1tb western digital green HD
- Diablotek 600 watt atx PSU
- pioneer blu ray dvd burner/player
- cooler master cpu cooler
- msi fm2-a75ma-e35 motherboard
- window 8 installed.
- 7 fans installed.

I'm a big fan of RPGs, so I'll be looking into various MMORPGs for sure. I know some friends have been trying to get me into WoW lately especially with the Draenor stuff coming out.

I've tried to give as much information as I could so that I could get the best feedback. Please help me out, Community!

Thanks. :)

**Also, is this the best category to ask this under? Or should I be asking it under the Systems cat even though I AM looking for opinions and experiences with this kind of tech?

Solution
The ostrog is fairly new to market, a lot of that build will be less than 2 years old. If you can get all that for a couple hundred I would snap it up

That's a good price for what is listed there and will get you started. You can always upgrade the video card at some point to more performance at some point if you feel you need it. You should be good to go though on most rpgs.

Thanks to both of you. I went ahead and made the deal to get it and I should have it by this evening. Much appreciated!
