So after i installed the latest NVIDIA driver using NVIDIA experience my OS has been booting a bit slower and after the logon screen its just rubbish. It can barely start any program, be it CCleaner, Chrome, any game(even 2000's games), and it doesnt play a sound.
After about 10-15 minutes it plays about 8-10 sounds at the same time and then it works just fine.
So far i have uninstalled the driver and am about to do a clean reinstall of W7, but first ill try the 337.88 driver to see how it performs.

Is your Hard drive full?
If it is, try to uninstall unneeded applications.

OK
So i finally got Ubuntu on a usb stick up and running.
It turns out my HDD failed after almost 4 years. GParted could barely do anything to it.
I guess it's time to get myself an SSD.
