Hello, I am now onto my second pc build and this time it's for my brother and it's going to get overclocked... Time to Unleash the Kraken!
He wants a water cooling system so I went for NZXT Kraken X60 but he likes the Cooler Master HAF X case and AFAIK they aren't compatible.
Is there any possibility I could modify the HAF X case or am I just better off getting another case like the Cooler Master Storm Stryker/trooper?
Or maybe, dare I say it, get rid of the Kraken?

Solution

Yeah it's mainly plastic / metal. I really like this case a lot, at first I thought having no 5.25" bays was going to be frustrating but as it turns out you get used to it.

And yeah I thought my icon would be a way to pay tribute to the late, great Robin Williams. It's his...
Keep the Kraken, but swap the HAF X out for an NXTZ Phantom 530 or 630. ...or look for a case that has a pair of 140mm fans together on the front (as intake). Or you can do a top mount as intake as well. Just don't do a rear mount as exhaust with the Kraken.

My brother is not keen on the build quality of the NZXT Phantoms.
What are the Thermaltake Urban T81 and the Thermaltake Core 71 cases like?

I like the look of the NZXT H440, is it mostly made out of plastic or metal? I think it all comes down to looks after functionality.
Nice picture, the guy was truly amazing. Remember watching him as a kid, what a genius.
