Hey, why is my i7 3770k core hotter then others?
using Prime95 to stress it

not under load:
core #0 25°C
core #1 26°C
core #2 37°C
core #3 28°C

under 100% load:
core #0 60°C
core #1 67°C
core #2 72°C
core #3 67°C

i am useing a Corsair H100i as a cooler and i have overclocked it to 4.5Ghz on turbo mode. (my third core were hotter before i overclocked)

Solution
There is almost always one like that. They aren't all identical, they are merely within the tolerances that Intel specified in the manufacturing design. Could be a slightly warped heat spreader, poor thermal material application between the heat spreader and CPU die, a slightly warped heat sink, a slightly off sensor, etc.
